Black Stallion Winery Napa

The Napa Chamber of Commerce held a fabulous networking event last night at the beautiful Black Stallion Winery. The fabulous food of paella, short ribs that melted off the bone, salads, tiny burgers and cups of fries was prepared by Elaine Bell Catering. Everyone who was anyone in Napa attended this fun event.

Black Stallion Winery is a great venue for your next event in Napa. Located on the grounds of an historic equestrian center, Black Stallion Winery is the latest addition to the distinguished collection of wineries on Napa Valley’s fabled Silverado Trail. They create distinctive wines, capturing the character of the soil and climate. Black Stallion wines are made in limited quantities, and are sold exclusively on their website or at the winery, ensuring that each bottle travels directly from our cellar to your door.

The estate property is framed by century-old olive trees and landscaped with natural grasses and Mediterranean plants. The winery grounds are surrounded by estate vineyards, planted with malbec, petite verdot and cabernet franc to support their signature red wines and flagship blend. A spectacular sculpture of a black stallion in motion is positioned at the entrance to the winery against a backdrop of volcanic-era stone walls festooned with creeping figs. Guests can sample Black Stallion Winery wines around their large circular tasting bar or relax on the terrace aside two trickling fountains. The hospitality center is equipped with two private tasting rooms and a private lounge for club members. The winery offers a variety of private event opportunities, including private tours and tastings, lunches and dinners.

Murder on the Menu/TeamBuilding Unlimited looks forward to working on your event at Black Stallion Winery. For more info on hosting an event there, contact Janet Rudolph (Murder on the Menu) or Marilyn Webster (Black Stallion Winery).

Chocolate Scavenger Hunt

TeamBuilding Unlimited has created several different types of Scavenger Hunts, one of which is our Bar to Bar to Bar Scavenger Quest that has teams searching the City (any city) for creative fun items at coffee bars, alcoholic bars and includes chocolate bars. This interactive teambuilding event also incorporates information about your company, the location and your goals and objectives.

Since we also do Chocolate Tastings and other Chocolate team building events, we decided to design a special Chocolate Scavenger Quest. San Francisco could be renamed Chocolate City, but there are other cities and towns where this will work, too. Downtown Napa, San Jose, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, really the sky's the limit! What's unique about our Scavenger hunts is that the group must also incorporate information on their team and their company into the final presentation about their 'found' items, photos and other chocolate related tasks. Everyone's a winner in this Sweet Chocolate Scavenger Quest.

Speaking of Chocolate, have a look at my other Blog: Dying for Chocolate. Everything and anything you want to know about Chocolate.

A great teambonding appreciation event for your team.

HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!

Several clients have asked for more TeamBuilding Unlimited events that revolve around food. We have the Chocolate Challenge, and Frank Price does an awesome Chocolate Tasting. Our latest teambuilding event, HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO! really capitalizes on your team's creativity and sweet tooth. This is great event to do before or after a meal and can be enjoyed in lieu of your dessert--or in addition to dessert. You can even take these cake masterpieces back to the office!

This is not just Icing on the Cake…. Teams design and decorate cakes to reflect their team, their company and more.

Each person is given an apron and a chef’s hat. Individuals decorate their chef’s hat with their team name. Then each team is challenged to create and decorate a cake that symbolizes the team itself, the company, their positions at the company, or another theme.

Each team will be given a large sheet cake that can be carved or left as is. With a variety of cake design supplies and assorted cake decorations, the group will turn their concept into reality. After the cake is designed and decorated, each team will create a song to present with their cake to the entire group. And last but not least, participants will enjoy their creations. You can have your cake and eat it, too!

Murder on the Menu/TeamBuilding Unlimited provides sheet cakes, tools, icing, decorations, bags, chef’s hats, aprons, gloves, facilitators, prizes and more. As in all our events, we include the theme of your meeting/event, agenda, goals and objectives, jargon and buzzwords and specific participants in this event. Groups of 5 to 200. Anywhere in the World.

Murder on the Menu corporate event in Napa Valley

Team Building is an important part of our company. However, we haven't abandoned Murder on the Menu, the #1 mystery company in the U.S. Last week we created and produced a special interactive mystery event for Millennium Pharmaceuticals. The mystery was held in The Rhine House at Beringer Winery in Napa Valley. What a fabulous setting! The participants from Millennium were so much fun. They immediately became involved in the mystery event because it was all about them! Our professional actors know how to make the guests the stars, and the Sales Team from Millennium jumped at the chance to "perform". We even built team building elements into the mystery event!

Here's what Mason Brooks, new head of the team from Millennium, wrote,
"Your group was absolutely fantastic! They were engaging, funny and very lively. I went into the dinner thinking it was either going a great success or a complete flop, it was definitely the former. My team really enjoyed it. I had several people who attended come up to me in Miami and rave about the Murder on the Menu dinner. For many it was a first but even those who had done similar things before said yours was more original and drew you in by weaving personal bits and pieces into the plot. Excellent program!"

That's what we like to hear! To plan your next mystery event anywhere in the U.S., contact me at Murder on the Menu.
