Alameda Free Library Murder on the Menu Event

Murder at the Library is the theme of the April 3 mystery event that Murder on the Menu will be presenting for the Alameda Free Library as part of their Mystery Month, and it fits in perfectly with the Alameda Free Library's goal, "to bring Alameda together through books, reading, and he sharing of ideas and experiences."

Part Mystery/Part Library familiarization, this mystery event will be lots of fun. For only $20, you will have a chance to match wits with over 100 other 'detectives', as you question the suspects who will be sequestered in different areas of the state of the art Alameda Free Library.

Starting at 6 p.m., you will join 5-10 other sleuths to become a team as you become involved in the Crime of Your Life. Who killed Colonel Mustard? Was it Miss Peacock? Professor Plum? Nurse White? Mr. Green? you? or was it Children's Librarian Eva Volin?

You will get your Just Dessert after the mystery, and their will be many! Yum!

Two Fundraising Events for Murder on the Menu

Murder on the Menu, our entertainment side of the TeamBuilding Unlimited business, actually has two public fundraising events coming up.

First we have an incredible evening of dinner, theatre and dancing for the Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce on March 21. This will be held at the beautiful Willow Park Event Center. What a great evening, and your ticket price is also a donation.

Our second Fundraiser will be held on April 2 at the Alameda Public Library: Murder in the Library. This, too, is a fundraiser for the library and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Murder on the Menu will be using a different format since this event does not include dinner. We will be doing what we call 'The Clue Game' where only one crime has taken place, and rather than having everyone in one room, the participants will be directed to various parts of the library where the 'suspects' will be sequestered. Participants will be in teams of 15 or so, as they participate in the Crime of their Life!

Murder on the Menu is available for corporate and private events, as well as Fundraisers, FAMs and more!
